Miami, FL – The Children’s Trust has officially launched StayHome.Miami, a website with free activities, resources and other digital tools to help parents, caregivers and children who will largely be confined to their homes through the coronavirus pandemic. Backed by the full force of The Children’s Trust and its equally committed partners, StayHome.Miami was built on the premise that “We’re All in This Together.” It will serve as a unique online resource and digital survival guide for all of Miami-Dade County families.
Designed with our community’s families in mind, StayHome.Miami is a user-friendly website that is as easy to navigate, and it is filled with useful fun information and activities. Among the many features available on the website are free downloadable Romero Britto coloring books, free access to read-aloud books, and a variety of easy to follow activities and games. The website will also be linked to other resources from The Children’s Trust including Parent Club webinars, newsletters and more.
StayHome.Miami provides a guide to help the community thrive at home with fun, educational and interesting activities and projects to do together. “StayHome.Miami?is full of valuable information to help you and your family cope with the challenges we are facing right now,” said President and CEO James R. Haj. “Instead of anxiety and confusion, we want to help you see this time as full of hope, with as many family activities as possible.”
“The current crisis is pushing us all to do things differently and discover our strengths as leaders,” said Ximena Nunez, director of Communications at The Children’s Trust. “With this platform we want to show a different perspective of everything that is happening. We want to be a resource for families and children to make the most out of it while staying safe at home.”
Always a support for all children and families in Miami-Dade County, The Children’s Trust increased its commitment to our most vulnerable residents since the coronavirus pandemic has brought much of society to a standstill. The Children’s Trust continues to fund its service providers and find more ways to reach out to the community, including StayHome.Miami.
