Leilah Collazo was born in Cuba and moved to the United States in 2000. She joined The Children's Trust as a Program Manager in September 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in psychology. After graduating in 2017, Ms. Collazo worked as a Child and Family Assessment Specialist at Lotus House Women’s Shelter where we served women and children experiencing homelessness; and later as a Data Administrator at United Way Miami where we worked to provide quality improvement to children in early learning centers around Miami-Dade.
Ms. Collazo is passionate about the work she does at The Trust helping children and families of Miami-Dade County. During her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, DIY home projects and cuddling with her dogs.
