Neisa Perez Tabares was born and raised in Cuba, and came to the United States in 2003. She joined The Children’s Trust in May 2023. Ms. Perez Tabares has 19 years of experience working in the field of social services implementing prevention programs for families with children. 

Prior to joining The Trust, she worked at the University of Miami for almost seven years and at Informed Families/The Florida Family Partnership for more than 11 years. Ms. Perez Tabares obtained a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from St. Thomas University. She graduated with honors and is a former member of the Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society.
